Indonesia: Lava erupts due to volcanic eruption, shadow of smoke around

 A volcano erupted on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia, on Thursday, lava erupted and a smog filled with smoke. No casualties have been reported in this incident yet.



According to the information of the three km radius of haze, the smog and lava erupted to an altitude of 1,000 meters and the haze covered the radius of three km. Indonesia's Volcano and Geological Disaster Reduction Center said the volcano at Mount Sinabung in North Sumatra province has been active for a long time and was under vigil for the past few weeks. The Center also issued a second top-level warning and asked many people to leave the place.


Armen Putra, an officer posted at the Sinbang Surveillance Post, said that people have been asked to stay five kilometers away from the mouth of the volcano crater. The 2,600-meter-high mountain was having a volcano since last year.


As many as 30,000 people had to take shelter elsewhere, the volcano had been burning since last year
, the ash had also risen to an altitude of 5,000 meters last month and there was smoke around. In the past few years, around 30,000 people from around Sinabung have had to take shelter elsewhere due to the volcano being active.
